AUDISON
VIRTUOSO
Just as the virtuous performer holds the absolute mastery of the instrument and the technique connected to it, the bit One HD Virtuoso features unique skills dedicated to the most ambitious OEM Integration projects and excels in the uncompromising Hi-End systems. This was made possible thanks to innovative functions born with the new software / firmware development and the upgrade of some key components in the audio signal path, which are crucial to reach new heights of listening pleasure. bit One HD Virtuoso allows the creation of an Audison Full DA HD (Full Digital Audio HD) system where the audio signal is transmitted digitally from the Hi-Res audio player to the Audison amplifiers equipped with AC / AD link inputs, preserving every nuance with maximum purity.
bit Nove is a powerhouse of technology fully dedicated to listening pleasure: since 2007, the year in which the bit One was first introduced, Audison has never stopped delivering innovation to the digital processors segment. The bit Nove was born from this unique know-how within the industry, the perfect tool to expand a car audio system maximizing its performance.
Input Connectivity
Equipped with 6 high (3 ÷ 20V) and low (1.2 ÷ 8V) level inputs, the bit Nove can be used with any type of aftermarket and OEM source. The auxiliary RCA input (0.3 ÷ 5V) is perfect to connect your smartphone or tablet to the bit Nove providing the highest possible quality. The advanced PC software sums up the channels belonging to the same front and de-equalizes the OEM source frequency response in a few simple steps. There are also two optical digital inputs with a maximum accepted resolution of 192 kHz/24 bit to simultaneously connect an Audison bit DMI to the bit Nove (taking the digital audio from the car MOST bus) and the Hi-Res bit Play HD player.
USS – Universal Speakers Simulator
Thanks to the integration of the USS technology, the bit Nove can also be connected to headunits featuring the “speaker load detection” circuit that would otherwise mute the audio signal output.
Output Connectivity
The bit Nove features nine output channels on RCA connectors providing a large number of active multi-amplified configurations, ensuring a wide range of set-up options to the installer. For each channel, the powerful DSP provides: a 10-pole parametric equalizer allowing for optimal adjustments, a 68 steps frequency crossover, Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley type filters with slopes from 6 to 24 dB/Oct and a time-delay line.
Thanks to the Analog Devices DSP (ADSP-21489), 32 bit floating-point Sharc series (450 MHz clock), bit One HD makes the most of Hi-Res audio files achieving studio master quality in your car.
bit One HD is the only processor able to develop an Audison Full DA HD chain, providing pure digital signal tranfer: the digital audio signal comes through one of the two optical digital inputs (TOSLINK up to 24 bit/192 kHz), is processed by the DSP at 24 bit/96 kHz and is sent to Audison amplifiers through two AD link port, preserving all the information of the Hi-Res audio file reproduced.
A dedicated software release enables the user to process up to 9 digital channels with crossover FIR filters.Through this type of sound processing, much more demanding in terms of calculation resources, a leading-edge in-car listening experience is achieved.
Three equalizers based on two different types of digital filters (FIR and IIR) manage the frequency response: 5 poles input equalization (MASTER and AUX) FIR type, to flatten the curve based on the input selected; IIR 11 poles output equalizer, to adapt the frequency response in the car compartment; 5 poles main equalization, FIR type, to “shape” the sound of the entire system according to the user’s personal music preferences.
When bit One HD is connected to an OEM head unit, a guided configuration routine automatically synchronizes the input audio channels, which are often time-delayed from the OEM source or amplifier, prior to the signals summing.
A De-equalization of the OEM system frequency response is then performed, featuring linear-phase FIR filters, to obtain an unparalleled reconstruction of the original signal without altering the phase response.
The RVA (Remote Volume Aux) function allow to select an auxiliary source (like the Audison bit Play HD) and adjust its volume via the OEM Head Unit.
The system setup is graphically managed and all the tuning features can be accessed intuitively, according to specific criteria required by the car audio industry.
bit One HD features 8 memories for the pre-sets of the Windows-based (10, 8, 7 edition) PC software.
Twelve input channels for four different signal typologies(amplified, pre-amplified and TOSLINK optical digital) and six different sources managed through DRC MP remote control (provided), making the bit One HD a unique interface suitable for any need.
Thirteen analog and/or digital output channels ensure vast expandability for any audio system configuration.
Connecting the bit One HD to the Audison bit Tune through an automatic procedure, all the processor’s basic audio parameters can be optimized (time alignment, equalization and output levels) ensuring an excellent acoustic result.
Despite its compact size, the bit One is equipped with a fast, latest generation 266 MHz / 32 bit floating point DSP microprocessor, working in real time on all the functions of the most complete systems. Managed and configured by a simple and intuitive computer software, it is possible to make adjustments to improve the signal through each phase of its path; from input to output. Eight input channels for four different signal typologies (amplified, pre-amplified, coaxial electric and TOSLINK optical digital) and six different sources managed through a remote control, making the bit One a unique interface suitable for any need. Eight analog and/or digital output channels ensure vastexpandability for any audio system configuration.
bit Ten D is a multi-function digital processor conceived and built to process digital and analogue signal both on the input and on output to the amplifier (featuring AD Link connection) and create top-performance system with any source typology.
Provided with a 32 bit, 147 MHz clock speed DSP as well as 24 bit A/D and D/A converters, bit Ten D processes the signal with extreme accuracy and wide configurability thanks to a software especially designed for car acoustic peculiarities.
bit Ten D features an optical digital input, minimizing interference and degradations of the signal found in traditional analog interconnects, also by-passing the A/D conversion phases of analog signals.
Thanks to the AD Link connection, the available outputs become 8 in total, all in digital format; they can also be used simultaneously with the analog ones (for a maximum of 8 outputs total).
The AC Link is completely dedicated to the “remote control” of the system. The system is comprised of one connector for the provided DRC and one for the amplifiers present in the system. The DRC is supplied with the bit Ten D product.
bit Ten is a multi-function digital processor featuring analog input, capable of transforming ordinary OEM or after-market system into a high-performance system.
Provided with a 32 bit, 147 MHz clock speed DSP as well as 24 bit A/D and D/A converters, bit Ten is controlled by a software especially developed for signal treatment according to the vehicle acoustic peculiarities.
Setting the parameters of each input single channel, setting the delays according to the listening position, adjusting crossovers and equalizers for each of the 5 output channels; all of these operations can be managed by the PC.
During the installation phase, after converting the analog signal into digital, bit Ten automatically reconstructs a digital full-bandwidth stereo signal; de-equalizes the frequency response and, if necessary, reconstructs the central and subwoofer channels.
The user can configure the output mode of each channel relative to the installed system.
It is designed to be connected with the DRC, Digital Remote Control (optional).
