Outstanding performance in a compact size<\/strong>, this is the target of Mille Pro car audio subwoofers.\u00a0On the strength of its\u00a0know-how\u00a0acquired with Mille Legend<\/strong>, the R&D team has optimized\u00a0the production process to offer the \u201cHertz Sound Experience\u201d\u00a0to a wider audience using part of the technologies and\u00a0materials of the flagship line. \u00a0The\u00a0MP 300 D2.3<\/strong>\u00a0cone is made by pressing paper pulp with\u00a0the injection of mineral powders, the same construction\u00a0technique used for Legend. The\u00a0V-cone\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0profile increases\u00a0rigidity, allowing the cone to function like a piston. Surround\u00a0materials consist of high-purity\u00a0IIR-butyl rubber<\/strong>. Like the\u00a0Legend ML2000.3 and ML2500.3, the Mille PRO subwoofers\u00a0are built with Boundary Free Surround technology allowing for\u00a0a greater emission surface with equal diameter, generating\u00a0higher sound pressure. The compact\u00a06-spoke aluminum alloy\u00a0anti-resonant<\/strong>\u00a0basket is the same as the top model ML 2500.3\u00a0and contributes to the subwoofer\u2019s mechanical damping,\u00a0being absolutely transparent to the sound. \u00a0The\u00a065-mm 4-layer voice coil<\/strong>\u00a0is higher than 60 mm<\/strong>\u00a0and wound in a TIL-P former, thus delivering high linear\u00a0displacement. The\u00a02\u00a0\u03a9 + 2 \u03a9 DVC impedance configuration improves versatility<\/strong>\u00a0to match any amplifier system. The air cooling and decompression system\u00a0avoids the need for a centre hole on the bottom plate with\u00a0three advantages:<\/p>\n

-\u00a0Better thermal inertia<\/strong>\u00a0to ensure low operating\u00a0temperatures during musical transients;
\n-\u00a0Maximization of the magnetic field induced<\/strong>\u00a0to the coil\u00a0with the same overall motor dimensions. Thanks to a\u00a0greater amount of iron in the pole the likelihood of magnetic\u00a0saturation decreases exploiting the maximum flux density\u00a0generated from the magnet;
\n- Possibility to\u00a0install the subwoofer right on the box\u00a0wall<\/strong>, taking full advantage of its minimal dimensions. A\u00a0damping rubber disk, provided with the product, secures the\u00a0subwoofer to the box and ensures air exchange for the 10\u00a0vents on the bottom.<\/p>\n

The holes behind the voice coil winding and\u00a0the 10 vents\u00a0on the bottom plate ensure greater air exchange<\/strong>\u00a0to the\u00a0coil inner layers and work in synergy with an innovative\u00a0assembly system. It forces the air to pass through the air\u00a0gap to keep the coil operating temperature low, even with\u00a0the most extreme musical programs.\u00a0The terminal uses\u00a0solid push connectors with an antishort\u00a0circuit cover<\/strong>\u00a0accepting cables up to 8 AWG to provide\u00a0ultra-low wiring resistance in low impedance configurations\u00a0(1ohm).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
